The River of Daugava is just in 5 minutes of walking distance. There are in 10 minutes National Opera (venue for opera, ballet and international performing artists), Dome Cathedral (the destination for world-class organ concerts), Small Guild (venue for small concerts), Wagner Hall (venue for small classical concers), Forum Cinemas (the second largest cinema complex in Northern Europe).
